Stuart Pecan Tree – An Old Variety but Still a Good One!
Since 1892, Stuart pecan has been the most widely known and planted pecan cultivar in the Southeast. Medium sized paper-shell nuts. Produces 47-51 nuts per lb. Type II pecan, pollinate with Caddo, Cape Fear, Jackson or Oconee. Nuts ripens late October to November. Zones 5A-9A.
