Miss Lilly – Southern Highbush Blueberry
The University of Georgia tends to release some of the best varieties of blueberries for the southeast. Miss Lilly is no exception. One of the “Southern Misses” series, we think this is going the best of the series for the back yard fruit grower. It flowers late escaping the majority of late spring freezes. Early ripening this will be one of the first to fruit in your yard. Fruit is large often covering a nickel, tender skinned and very sweet. Plants are upright and narrow growers a good choice for edible hedges. Ripens mid to late May. 400 chill hours.
