Fina Sodea Clementine Tree – Citrus clementina ‘Fina Sodea’
Fina Sodea Clementine tangerine tree was a chance seedling of Clementine discovered in Morocco. Clementine tangerines are famous the world over, with many new introductions arriving in this country. Most people enjoy them as they like the seedless factor and rich flavor. They are only seedless if grown in isolation from other citrus varieties (if they cross pollinate with other citrus they may be seedy) Of all the varieties Fina Sodea is one of our favorites, the fruit has a hint of apricot in it and is so sweet. For higher yields and (sigh) some seeds it’s best to pollinate with Orlando Tangelo or Page Orange. Zones 8B-B10.
