Louisiana Iris

Louisiana Iris (Iris sp.)

These fabulous varieties have been developed from the much loved natives. These tough plants thrive in full sun to part shade and in wet to dry soils. Zones 5-10. Prices are $5.99 per corm. Boxing fee is $6.00 for 1-2 corms and $10.00 for 3-10 corms.
Varieties available:

Aunt Shirley--Gorgeous deep shell-pink blooms are big and ruffled, making this an appealing addition to your raingarden. Great cut flower. 36 inches high.

Art World--Exquisite silky mauve-pink blooms are waved and fluted. Very unique mid-late season bloomer. 36 inches high.

Black Gamecock Iris

Black Gamecock-- Blooms so dark purple they're almost black. A fabulous contrast to paler varieties and a tad shorter to enhance the contrast. 36 inches high.






Clara Goula--Prolific blooms of large, deeply ruffled white with greenish yellow signals. 42 inches high.

Creole Canary--Described as possibly the most vigorous LA iris ever. Often produces extra petals! Canary yellow double, darker signal. 36 inches high.

Count Pulaski-- Giant rich gold flowers with a long bloom season. 36 inches high.

Delta Twilight Iris

Delta Twilight--Blended lilac, blue, gray and mauve tones on this one, like a southern summer evening. Mid-season bloomer. 36 inches high.






Daintree--Heavily ruffled yellow with green signals. 30-36 inches high.

Fondly--Striking dark red-violet blooms with yellow spear signals. Blooms in early-to mid-season. 40 inches high.

Glowlight--Absolutely stunning deep violet sepal, near-white petals. Yellow-green signal with flaring form. 39 inches high.

Her Highness--Stately large, pure white blooms with ruffled edges. Tall grower to 45 inches.

Instant Replay--Medium to deep blue-violet with yellow signals. All petals are the same color. 22 inches high.

Jazz Ballet--Lovely ruffled violet blooms with lighter violet on the edges. Yellow signals make a striking contrast. 30-36 inches high.

Just a Reflection Iris

Justa Reflection--Lavender blooms with darker lavender veins, light yellow signal. Mid-season bloomer. 30 inches high.





Kissie -- Deep purple pink that verges on magenta. What a winner. 39 inches high.

Lake Ouachita--Sky blue blooms with a small yellow steeple signal. Mid-season bloomer. 26 inches high.

Little Rock Skies Iris Little Rock Skies--Light lavender-blue flowers with golden veins appear in late spring. Mid-sized bloomer. 30 inches high.




Megan Victoria Iris

Megan Victoria--Light rose-violet blooms with lemon yellow style arms and lime green in the throats. Raised yellow steeple signal. 25 inches high.





Noble Moments Iris

Noble Moments--Blue-violet petals with frilled edges flank a white and gold blaze signal. Lovely mid-season bloomer. 36 inches high.






Palmetto Purple Plum Iris

Palmetto Purple Plum--Deep purple contrasting nicely with bright yellow signal, yellow mid-line. This is one for the fans of dark purple. 30 inches high.





Praline Festival--Dusty rose tan with yellow gold signals give the effect of carmel, brown (Pralines!) tones. Heavily veined, ruffled flower. 34 inches high.

Purple--A Louisiana iris that wishes to remain anonymous, but we know it is a purple one. 22 inches high.

Queen of Violets -- This one lives up to its name. Huge violet flowers on a 48 inch stem. A real winner. 48 inches high.

Short Pure Yellow--A LA iris by any other (more poetic) name is but a LA iris, and this one is sure to please with its pure yellow hue. 22 inches high.

Vermillion Queen--Vermillion Queen blooms early and often: butter-gold sepals on creamy ruffled petals. 46 inches high.

Other Iris (Iris sp.)

Varieties available:

Blue Flag--This elegant Florida native wetlands beauty produces large pale blue to purple flowers arising from a fan-like base of sword-like leaves. 36-48 inches high.


Sorry, not available at this time.Yellow Flag (Iris pseudacorus)--This hardy tranplant from Europe is a robust and vigorous iris for your sunny bog or pondside. Brilliant yellow blooms spring into summer. Zones 4-9. 36 inches high.
