Shiranui Tangerine Tree – Citrus reticulata ‘Shiranui’
Shiranui tangerine tree is a Japanese hybrid cross of a Kiyomi tangor and Ponkan tangerine. Large, seedless fruit with a “neck” at the top making it easy to peel. It is considered by many to be one of the most flavorful citrus in the world. The fruit are very sweet with just a touch of acidity. Self fertile. Fruit ripens November to January. Zones 9-10.
