Moro Blood Orange Trees – Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck
Moro Blood Orange is one of the first blood oranges to ripen. The trees are moderate growers rounded and spreading in habit. Fruit is born in heavy clusters. The orange-colored peel is commonly blushed with a burgundy color. Flesh deeply pigmented (almost violet-red); Fruit are juicy, and has a pleasant raspberry orange flavor. Fruit ripens January to March. Self-fertile. Zones 9-10.
