Kimbrough Satsuma Tree
A Louisiana State University introduction, Kimbrough Satsuma tangerine tree is thought to be 1-2 degrees more cold tolerant that Owari. Noted for its large size and the fact it has fewer seeds than other varieties of Satsuma. This late ripening variety beats the others in quality and flavor. Fruit ripens October to December. Self fertile. Zones 8A-10.
