Higgins Muscadine Grape – Older Variety Still a Good One!
One of the oldest muscadine grapes out of the University of Georgia breeding program. Higgins vines are heavy producers of whopper size bronze grape with pink to reddish-bronze skin. Fruit is delicious eaten fresh. Fruit is 17% sugar and ripens early to mid September. Female grape vine needs a self pollinating variety to set fruit. Zones 7-10.
