Fine, “Orange Life-Saver” flavor distinguishes this small tangerine. Fremont tangerine tree is a cross between Clementine and Ponkan. Medium-thick rind is easy to peel, and inside is a deep-orange rich sweet flesh that maintains its juiciness for up to three months after ripening on the tree. Fruit ripens mid-season, heavy bearer. Fruit ripens December to January. Self fertile. Zones 8B-10.
