Caddo Pecan – Bears at an Early Age!
In terms of yield potential, The University of Georgia has found Caddo pecan to be one of the best varieties they’ve tested. Caddo bears at an early age and continues to produce heavy yields as it matures without extreme alternate bearing years. Paper-shell nuts are of high quality and medium sized. Produces 63-67 nuts per lb. Type I pecan, pollinate with Elliott, Moreland, Stuart, Lakota, McMillian, Zinner or Sumner. Nuts ripens mid October. Zones 5A-9A
